Μέτα την εγκατάσταση του iPhone OS 3.0 σε μερικούς από εσάς η μπαταρία μπορεί να τελειώνει γρήγορα. Σύμφωνα με το iSpazio αυτό μπορεί να συμβαίνει λόγω του Push και του MobileMe αν δεν θέλετε να τελειώνει γρήγορα η μπαταρία του iPhone απλά απενεργοποιήστε το Push και μετρήστε το πάλι για να δείτε πόσο μπορεί να κρατήσει χωρίς να συνδέεται στο MobileMe.
I recently apply the new Firmware 3.0 to my iPhone and then i notice that my battery was draining really bad. Thinking that it was a bug i restore and set up my iPhone as a New Device in Itunes. But the problem was there my battery was draining really fast.
Since i have a subscription to MobileMe i was getting push noitifications of my emails but i was also getting those same push notifications for my other accounts that don’t support push. So i turn the push service inside the mail, contact, calender and my battery is back to normal. I Hope this gets fix soon. Those anyone has the same problem with their Battery and MobileMe?

Η cosmote παλιά έχει μια υπηρεσία με το όνομα imode. Εαν έχετε κάνει update και δεν δουλεύουν σωστά τα MMS, χάνετε το σήμα ή άλλα περίεργα, όλα οφείλονται στην υπηρεσία imode!
Εαν δεν ξέρετε πως να δείτε αν έχετε ενεργοποιημένο το imode ή θέλετε να μάθετε περισσότερα και να το απενεργοποιήσετε καλέστε απο cosmote στο 1212.

Αν θυμόμαστε στο 2.x OS του iPhone για να κάνουμε force quit μια εφαρμογή έπρεπε να κρατήσουμε πατημένο το home για 6 δευτερόλεπτα. Αυτό χρησιμοποιήθηκε πολύ όταν ανοίγαμε βαριές εφαρμογές όπως safari, mail κτλ.
Στο OS 3.0 για να κάνουμε force quit μια εφαρμογή κρατάμε πατημένο το Sleep/Power και μόλις εμφανιστεί το “Slide to power off” κρατάμε το home για 5 δευτερόλεπτα και μας πηγαίνει πίσω στο SpringBoard!
Οι χρήστες μετά την αναβάθμιση των iPhone τους στην έκδοση 3.0 αντιμετωπίζουν διάφορα προβλήματα και ειδικά με πολλές εφαρμογές τις οποίες έχουν ήδη αγοράσει και δεν έχει βγεί αναβάθμιση ακόμα για να υποστηρίζει την έκδοση 3.0. Στα jailbroken iPhones πολλά προγράμματα που υπάρχουν στο Cydia είναι μη συμβατά με την έκδοση 3.0, για αυτό καλό θα ήταν για τις πρώτες εβδομάδες να προσέχουμε τι περνάμε στο iPhone μας για να αποφύγουμε τα απανωτά restore!
Για εσάς με τις πολλές σπασμένες εφαρμογές απο Appulo και άλλες πηγές μπορείτε να τις χρησιμοποιείται στο 3.0 αρκεί να είναι συμβατές με αυτό. Για να περάσετε σπασμένες εφαρμογές στο 3.0 πηγαίνετε στο Cydia και προσθέστε το http://cydia.hackulo.us μετά από τα categories ψάξτε την κατηγορία hackulo εκεί θα βρείτε το AppSync 3.0 μετά την εγκατάσταση του κάντε αμέσως restart. Τα υπόλοιπα είναι απλά πετάξτε (drag n drop) στο iTunes όλες τις σπασμένες και μη εφαρμογές που θέλετε να βάλετε στο iPhone σας και αφήστε το να κάνει sync.
Μια λίστα από κρυμμένες λειτουργίες μέσα στην έκδοση 3.0. Η λίστα μέχρι στιγμής έχει πάνω από 96 λειτουργίες. Μερικές πιο ενδιαφέρον από κάποιες άλλες. Εδώ θα βρείτε μερικές από τις καλύτερες.
MacRumors forum user bndoarn has organized a massive list of hidden 3.0 features. The list is over 96 individual features so far. Some are more significant than others, of course. Here are a few interesting highlights:
- There is no limit to the number of apps that can be installed (beside storage space). Once you reach the home screen limit, Apps installed after that are installed without an icon but can be accessed in Spotlight. You can also use this to hide any apple application (i.e. weather and stocks)
- In the Settings -> General -> Home Button you can now set the double click to the new search feature or the camera
- Notes now has data detectors. Links are clickable, phone numbers are callable, email address are emailable, and address are locatable (using Maps)
- When a phone call interrupts you, after the phone call you are taken back to the app you were in before you were interrupted
- You can now have 11 home screen pages instead of nine
- Now there is a different way to force quit apps. now you have to hold the sleep/wake button until the red slider appears, then you press and hold down the home button to quit the appThe first on the list is perhaps most notable, allowing you to use Spotlight as an application launcher to avoid swiping through pages and pages of apps and also installing more than the allotted number.

Το καινούριο firmware 3.0 της Apple μπορεί να έχει δυνατότητες που επιτρέπει τους χρήστες να μοιραστούν μεταξύ τους εφαρμογές μεταξύ φίλων και γνωστών τους, μια κίνηση που θα δώσει στους χρήστες iPhone και iPod touch μια καλύτερη άποψη για το App Store.
Citing a “a person familiar with the technology,” BusinessWeek reports that the forthcoming software update “includes features that, if activated by Apple, may let users share software with one another.” The publication goes on to speculate that such a feature could even be expanded to allow iPhone users to generate a commission “when they’ve induced someone else to make a purchase.”
The ability to try applications before buying them has been a sore point with App Store shoppers. In an attempt to address this, some app developers have released “lite” versions of their apps that are free or close to free and include only a few levels or features of the full-fledged version.
This, however, adds a few more steps to the purchasing process for a potential buyer, since a second trip to the App Store must be made to purchase the full version. Additionally, the user will probably want to delete the lite version from the iPhone to free up memory and avoid confusing the two apps, which often have similar icons.
With the tens of thousands of apps available in the App Store today, shopping for interesting and useful applications can be a challenge. Friends and family often share common interests, and the ability to learn of a new application, obtain it directly from a friend or family member, and try it out could present a more streamlined approach to app shopping in many instances.
Apple has seeded five betas of iPhone Software 3.0 to date in which numerous discoveries pertaining to future software and hardware features have been made, but Wednesday’s claim is the first to suggest application sharing capabilities will be amongst the software’s highlights.
Apple reportedly declined to comment on the matter, with spokesperson Jennifer Bowcock stating that, “We’ve made no announcements at this time.”
